History of Living Hope Christian Church

In 2004, a group of people from The Fruitful Vine Christian Church in Clifton Park (now in Malta) became burdened with sharing God’s love with more people in the Glenville area. The group began meeting in their homes and praying for the community. While praying, they watched as God assembled a small, but gifted church planting team with the vision and core values for a new church. The Fruitful Vine sent one of their pastors to lead the team. Living Hope Christian Church is the result of those hours of prayer and planning.  On September 10, 2006 we kicked off our first public worship service.

Pastor Eric Walton has pastored churches in New York State and Arizona since 1980. He has a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (co-founded by Billy Graham). He and his wife, Cheryl, have been married since 1978 and have five children.
